This movie explores the complexity of relationships and the institution of marriage.KANK was the most powerful movies of late, after Kabhi Kabhi and Silsila. This particular scene is very insightful if looked upon closely. All of our lives are effected by two things - our own decisions (good or bad as later proved) and/or external factors (owing to the environment, others around us or accidents). In this scene Dev (Shahrukh Khan) gets into an accident aka external factor which he has no control over and it changes the course of his life. Maya (Rani Mukherjee) on the other hand makes a decision which she regrets later on, thereby changing the course of her own life.
We have no control over the external factors - accidents, environments et al, but definitely we have some control over our own decisions. Lets pray that the decisions we take in our life prove to be the right ones.
